Barbie and her little sister Kelly are dressed for Easter fun, in matching pretty spring dresses made from a pink, green and yellow fabric which is adorably decorated with small white bunny rabbits.  Their dresses are have a pretty pink underskirt, pink lace trim at the bodice, and a pink ribbon around their waists which is decorated with 3 small blue, yellow and pink flowers.  Barbie's dress is ankle-length and she wears pink high-heeled sandals, while Kelly's short dress shows her pink tights and pink Mary-Janes.   Barbie has long curly strawberry-blond hair and she wears a white straw hat trimmed with a pink satin ribbon, while Kelly has long straight blond hair with a pink satin headband.  

The box completes the Easter theme, painted in a spring watercolor garden scene reminiscent of Beatrix Potter illustrations, with trees, bunnies, birds, and birdhouses adorning the inside of the box.  Barbie and Kelly both carry a cute white Easter basket with a picture of flowers inside.   The back of the box shows you how to play the game of "Easter Garden Hunt" using the 5 Stand-Up Character Cards and the 20 Matching Character Eggs that are included.

This wonderful doll is the first doll in a series celebrating the life and career of Elizabeth Taylor.  This doll depicts Elizabeth Taylor wearing the famous Edith Head gown that she wore to the Academy Awards (Oscars) in 1970, complete with a replica of the massive 69-carat diamond that Richard Burton bought for her.

This doll was originally sold with the purchase of White Diamonds Eau de Toilette Spray.  Elizabeth Taylor designed her White Diamonds perfume, which is a sophisticated floral scent with notes of Italian neroli, living Amazon lily, Egyptian tuberose, Turkish rose, Italian orris, living narcissus, living jasmine, Italian sandalwood, patchouli, amber, and oakmoss.

Elizabeth Taylor's original dress was purchased by Mattel to benefit AMFAR (American Foundation for AIDS Research), and it is reproduced in stunning detail.  Her semi-sheer sleeveless chiffon violet gown has a fitted bodice, with a long skirt that is accented with ruffled edges. The hues of purple perfectly complement Miss Taylor's luminous violet eyes. This very sophisticated gown is complemented by stunning jewelry, featuring a real Swarovski® crystal drop necklace. Elizabeth Taylor's distinctly beautiful features are precisely captured with great clarity and detail in the doll's sculpting.

Golden Anniversary Barbie is truly stunning in a lovely glittering golden evening gown.  The bodice of her dress has a heart-shaped neckline, and is tightly fitted at the waist.  The elegant skirt flares out from her waist in panels of golden glittery fabric and golden brocade fabric, and the hem of her skirt is edged with gold and white lace.  She wears golden glittering wraps on her arms, and she wears a red AIDS awareness ribbon "to symbolize her commitment to help The Children Affected by AIDS Foundation".  Her blonde shoulder-length hair swept back from her head in a simple bob style which curls up at the bottom.  She wears an absolutely fabulous golden necklace, which is accented by faux-diamonds and faux pearls.  She has blue eyes that are accented by 2 different shades of eye shadow, and she wears bright-red lipstick on her mouth.  

To commemorate the Toys 'R Us 50th anniversary, Barbie comes with a Certificate of Authenticity which is individually numbered, and the bottom of the box also is individually numbered.  The presentation of the doll inside of the box is very attractive, because she is packaged inside a special tissue paper wrapper.  The wrapper is held in place by a gold ribbon which is tied together with a representation of the red AIDS ribbon.  

Golden Anniversary Barbie is in mint condition, and she has never been removed from her mint-condition box.  She comes with a doll stand and Certificate of Authenticity.  This doll is a great addition to any Barbie collection!

Barbie is sensationally dressed for her performance in a stunning iridescent teal pantsuit underneath a jacket traced with black and golden flowers and a single rhinestone button that catches the light. A soft black velvety collar and chiffon ruffles frame her lovely smiling face as she sings with Kenny, dressed in his black western style jacket and faux leather pants. Barbie and Kenny sing a duet so powerful that the artists are swept up into the music, taking the audience with them!

The back of the box says "Duets are sweeping country music.  Major artists are teaming up, and listeners love the chemistry of two voices playing off one another.  Tonight, Barbie and Ken as Kenny take their turn on the famous Grand Ole Opry stage.  Join them as they make their first appearance together in a special performance to kick off their Nationwide Country Tour."
