The Burmese Cat.

zest for life. This very musical animal also likes to sing and often has a wide
vocal range. The 1996 Cat coin shows this talented feline in the finest sculptured
detail on the reverse. The 1996 coin is the ninth of the Cat series, and it has a beautiful Burmese Cat on the back and a picture of Queen Elizabeth II on the front. This coin is CuNi (Cupro Nickel) in a Brilliant Uncirculated minting. The contrast in the photo at left was enhanced to show the striking coin detail. |
