"Beauty and the Beast" is a wonderful story that teaches important moral lessons in a fun way, with the integral theme of the story showing that a person's beauty is on the inside and it doesn't matter what they look like on the outside.  Children and adults alike love the movie for the great story, fantastic songs, and interesting characters.  Belle is a wonderful role model for young girls, because she is smart, funny and compassionate as well as being an elegant and beautiful Disney princess. 

This Belle doll is dressed in an exquisite yellow and pink ballerina tutu gown.  Belle's fitted bodice is made of yellow taffeta, and is accented with thin satin ribbon straps, lines of white trim edging down in a v-shape towards her waist and around her waist, clusters of pink satin roses, and a sheer gold-edged chiffon ribbon draped around her bodice and shoulders.  Her dramatically poufed tutu skirt is made of 3 layers of soft pink tulle over a yellow netting layer, and she wears white cotton pantalets under her gown.  Her skirt is decorated with a sheer gold-edged chiffon ribbon which is draped around the middle of the skirt, and a pink rosette with gold satin ribbon trim adorns each place where the ribbon is attached to the skirt.  Belle stands on her toes in pink ballet slippers that are painted on her feet, and she is standing gracefully in a classic ballet position with her elbows out and her hands inwards below her waist.

Belle has a lovely smiling face, with large almond-shaped hazel-green eyes, real eyelashes, and pink lipstick on her closed mouth.  Her shining auburn-brown hair is very long -- it goes down to her knees in length.  She wears her signature hairstyle, with large dramatic curled rolls around her face and a lovely rose tiara perched above her head.  For jewelry, she wears faux-pearl post earrings.

Belle is a large doll, at approximately 16 inches tall.  She is in mint condition, and has never been removed from her excellent condition box.   Belle  comes with a special pink stand made just for her, and it has a round base decorated with yellow ribbons and pink roses and the name "Belle".  She also comes with an instruction sheet describing how to insert her into her stand, and a certificate with instructions for registering your doll and receiving a Certificate of Authenticity.

Belle is accompanied by a lovely porcelain horse in this unique "Royal Horse Collection" gift set.  Belle wears her signature yellow ballgown, which is beautifully decorated with sequins and pink rosettes.  She wears a stiff white net petticoat and white cotton full-length bloomers underneath her full skirt.   Her hand-painted yellow pumps are molded as part of her porcelain legs, and each shoe has a small yellow molded decoration.  Belle has a lovely smiling face, with large almond-shaped hazel-green eyes, real eyelashes, and bright-pink lipstick on her closed mouth.  Her shining auburn-brown hair is tied in a long ponytail with a yellow ribbon tied into a large bow in the back, and the front of her hair is rolled back around her face in her signature hairstyle.  For accessories, she wears faux-crystal post earrings, yellow gloves, and a small faux-brass key around her left wrist.

Belle's majestic horse Philippe is golden-tan in color, and he has an impressive golden-blonde mane curled in large rolls around his neck.  The horse wears a pink saddle, along with a yellow saddle blanket and yellow bridle trimmings to match Belle's dress.  The horse also wears a pretty faux-pearl and pink rosette decoration around his neck and chest.  The horse's left front hoof is raised as if he is walking, and his other 3 hooves are standing on porcelain patches of flowers.

The side of the box says "Belle longed for adventure in the great wide somewhere.  She often dreamt of finding her one true love, and living happily ever after.  When her beloved father mysteriously disappeared, Belle and her faithful horse, Phillipe, set out to search for him.  She found her father being held prisoner in the castle of the coldhearted Beast.  Belle agreed to exchange her freedom for his, and to live out the rest of her life held captive in the Beast's castle.  Belle's kindness, tenderness and beauty warmed the cruel heart of the Beast.  Her love broke the evil spell cast upon him and transformed him back into a handsome prince."

Belle is approximately 9 inches tall, and her horse Philippe is approximately 9 inches tall and 7 inches long.  Both figures are in mint condition, and have never been removed from their excellent condition box.   Belle is mounted on a removable metal stand, and the set comes with a special green plastic display base with instructions explaining how to put Belle and the horse onto the display base.  This set also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
