Chou is an adorable lifelike baby doll that
looks and feels like a real baby. "Chou Chou"
(pronounced "shoe-shoe") literally translates to "Cabbage", and it is
a sweet European endearment similar to when Americans call a baby "Pumpkin".
Made by a German toy
company (Zapf Creation), Chou Chou is a high-quality doll which will provide countless hours of
enjoyment for any little girl or boy. Zapf Creation also makes the
brand-new Gigi doll,
which is is a
special version of the Chou Chou Doll with different
accessories. Gigi is the same size, shape, and quality of a Chou Chou
doll, and she is made by the same company - only her name is
different!
Chou Chou is approximately 19 inches long, which is roughly the size of a newborn baby (although each doll only weighs about 3½ pounds which is lighter than a real baby so little girls and boys can carry her!). She is soft and huggable like a real baby with her special soft body stuffing in her cloth body. Her head, hands and forearms, and feet and part of her legs are molded from a high-quality vinyl. Her eyes are closed when she is laying down "asleep" (except for the Rock-a-Bye Chou Chou doll), and her beautiful long curled eyelashes open to reveal her lovely eyes when she is in an upright "awake" position.

This Chou Chou Doll is an Ethnic doll with darker skin and big expressive brown eyes. As with all Chou Chou dolls, her eyes are closed when she is lying down and they open wide to reveal her pretty brown eyes and long eyelashes when she is sitting up. She is wearing a pretty pink-and-white striped sleeper outfit made of soft terrycloth fabric, with a matching hat. She also wears a white bib made of soft cotton jersey fabric, and the bib is embellished with a pink satin ribbon and two pink satin bows and trimmed around the edges with delicate lace edging.
