Ty Attic Treasures® - Retired 4 |
Ty Attic Treasures are fully-jointed poseable plush animals, with the nostalgic look of early handmade stuffed animals. They are made of textured fur that looks realistic for each animal, and they wear unique clothing with richly-detailed accents. Attic Treasures are a hit with collectors, because their faces, bodies, and clothes have so many interesting details that give unmistakable character to each special Attic Treasure. Attic Treasures have been rising in value faster than Beanie Babies, particularly the retired characters because they become so difficult to find after they are retired. The Attic Treasures are recommended for ages 3 to 100, and the Ty tag says that you should remove all tags and other accessories before giving to a child under the age of 3. Quantities are limited, so get one for your favorite collector (or yourself) today!

Christopher (#6071) is an 8-inch fully-jointed
Bear with brown fuzzy fur. Christopher is dressed in a dark blue corduroy
jumpsuit. His hands and feet are made of tan velour fabric. His hang tag is
the older style Attic Treasure tag with "To...From...With Love" on the inside. He is in mint condition with mint tags, and will be shipped with a hang tag protector. |

is an 8-inch fully-poseable bear with soft light-brown fur and a little pot belly. He
has dark-brown fur on his nose and inside his ears, and his handpads and footpads are

| Colby the Mouse (Retired) | |

Colby (#6043) is approximately 10 and 1/2
inches tall, and he is a fully-jointed mouse with fuzzy gray fur. Colby is dressed
in a shiny peach-colored jumper. The insides of his ears, hands, feet, and tail are
all made of white velour fabric. Colby has black eyes and a pink nose. His
hang tag is the older style Attic Treasure tag with "To...From...With Love" on
the inside. We have only seen Colby once (at an authorized Ty retailer), and
although it was much more expensive than other retired Attics, we bought as many as
we could!
It appears that Colby was originally sold unclothed, and then later re-introduced wearing a peach jumper -- although it also had a pearl-colored button on the front of the jumper. The last shipments of Colby (made after it's retirement) still included the jumper, but was devoid of the button. As you can see in the photo, at left, the Colbys we have for sale are from the later shipments, including the jumper, but not including the button. He is in mint condition with mint tags, and will be shipped with a hang tag protector. |

Ebony (#6130) is a 13-inch fully-jointed black
Cat with beautiful shiny black fur. Her white accents include a white nose, white
velvet paws, one white ear, and a white-tipped tail. She has green eyes, and four
clear kitty whiskers on either side of her nose. Ebony is wearing a shiny ruby red
velour jumper embellished with a pink satin rosette on her chest, and her long
white-tipped tail hangs out through the velcro closure in the back of the jumper (as you
can see in the bottom picture). Ebony was designed by Ty Warner himself, which adds to her value. She was retired along with her pal Amethyst on July 31, 1998. Any cat collector would love to get their paws on Ebony, because of her realistic cat features and gorgeous outfit. Ebony is in mint condition with mint tags, and she will be shipped with a hang tag protector. |
| Esmerelda the Witch Bear (Retired) | |

Esmerelda (#6086) is an 8-inch fully-jointed
Witch Bear with shaggy dark-brown bear fur. She is dressed as a witch, wearing a
tall black velour pointed witch hat on her head, and a long black velour cape tied with
black satin ribbon ribbon around her neck. To give her a mysterious appearance, the
top of the cloak extends up from the neckline to cover the back of her head and the sides
of her face. She has an upturned embroidered nose and mouth, with small black eyes
peering out from underneath her hat. This is truly an adorable little witch, and her
tag says "That Old Black Magic" to emphasize her magical powers! Esmerelda was introduced in September 1998, and retired after only a few months of production in December 1998. You can purchase Esmerelda the Witch Bear along with Peter the Pumpkin Bear (see below), for a complete Halloween-theme set! Esmerelda is in mint condition with mint tags, and she will be shipped with a hang tag protector. |

Eve (#6106) is a 12-inch fully-jointed Bear with rich nappy-textured gold-colored bear fur. She has an upturned aristocratic embroidered nose and mouth, and black shining eyes. She is wearing a lovely cream-colored lace cloak tied with a satin bow, which gives her the look of a Victorian bride. On the top of her head, she wears a beautiful floral wreath of peach, pink, and lavender satin rosettes. You can see the fabulous details on this bear in the pictures, from the drape of the long lace cloak in back, to the way the top of the cloak extends up from the neckline to cover the back of her head. Eve would make a lovely shower gift for a bride-to-be, or for anyone who collects beautiful bears. Eve is in mint condition with mint tags, and she will be shipped with a hang tag protector. |

Fairbanks (#6059) is a 9-inch fully-jointed husky dog
with soft white fur tipped with dark-gray. Fairbanks is wearing a
dark-gray knitted
sweater with burgundy trim around the neck, arms, and hem of the sweater. His hang tag says "Land of the Midnight
